Its tym to............

Hey Everyone

Its tym to do something [EXCITINGLY DIFFERENT]. Yeah, you guessed it right.!!! The font does all the work. Its tym to zeal and be the ikon. Now for all those techno-savvy people sitting out there, its the right tym to prove your mettle. And for one more reason, its the bang tym............what???Ok
Tired of all the assignments and the lab files and the "All tym hit" sessionals just next week, so just bag a prize and show it to your teacher........."I'm not that useless ma'am." What an idea, sirjee!!!!

Now, come and break the codes...........crack the shell scripts...............khojo the khajana................ink and paint your imagination.....................unjumble the jumbled.....................knit the night in daylight(aray baba, make the website)..................hack the network........................be a gladiator chucking all the queries with his sword...................and find out how many search engines do ya know???

The events I'm talking about are:
Codewar
Crack-d-Shell
Errata
Ovid
Jigsaw
Night Knitting
Penzar
SQL Samurai
Khoj

Its very rightly said "The greatest event for the world is the arrival of a new and wise person.”
and hence all of you are invited to be a part of this gala at the casa.

I know i am a bit late as far as posting n this blog is concerned. Still i will do it anyways.
As far as Nibble events are concerned...my head is going up and up(bas karo bhai neck break ho jayegi). Our brilliant pre-final year with the excellent and timely contribution of second and first year Nibblites have done a job that is worthy of reverence. They have set an examples for others that how a big trunk can be shifted from your way if you try doing it hand-in-hand.
Errata was a real real 'treasure-hunt'. No doubt it had set the so called 'feel' of the fest. Some of my friends said that 'its not as good as the last year's one'. I disagreed. In my opinion a good treasure hunt should always have that 'element-of-surprise' stuff for participants. Errata was a perfect game-show this time and my these friends only believed it at the end of the day :) Hats off to Siddhartha, Suneel and the team!!
We had mingled responses. Our labs were overcrowded in some events like CodeWar, Khoj and SQL Samurai. While we had a decent crowd for the others.
Unlike the last year, we had removed all the restrictions in Khoj and truncated the duration of the contest. This was done as an experiment...as a result of which Khoj became a trillion times more exciting than its any time ever before.
For the first time Penzar saw so many people trying to beat it :D Prateek was the happiest person after watching all the good things throughout the event. In fact you should feel so and praise yourself after you have done some good stuff. That acts as a motivation.
Ovid had some real good participants this time. Even our expert judge Vaishali was confused when she looked at the picturesque art of them. Though a close tie we had this time we had to announce Winner and Runner-Up. After all rules are rules!
SQL Samurai was the DARK HORSE of all. We never knew that people are so interested in writing queries for prize money which they would never do otherwise :P ... It was nice to see people writing all sort of queries; be it in SQL, English, Hebrew :DDD ... jokes apart. This was a 'sacchi-mucchi-ka-accha' event because people implement all the concepts they have studied before from Korth, Navathe etc. Personally i like it when any theory in a particular subject is being implemented.
Remaining events too were successful in finding its glory amongst all. Its only that i have to go now for my 11:15 AM class :)
Good luck Nibble...you have a bright future ahead. God bless all.
